You can make your home feel more relaxing by combining the soothing smell of coffee with the warm glow of candles. These candles with coffee in them are great for do-it-yourself projects and look great in any room.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of coffee beans
- Wax flakes as needed
- Candle wicks
- Glass jars or containers
- Essential oils optional
Instructions:
Make the coffee beans into a coarse powder
Mix the wax flakes with water in a double boiler until they melt
Hold the candle wicks in place at the bottom of the glass jars or containers
Mix the coffee grounds into the wax that has melted
You can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to make it smell nice if you want to
Take care not to fill the jars all the way to the top; leave about half an inch of space at the top
Set the candles aside for a few hours to cool down and harden
Cut the wicks to the length you want
Light your candles that have coffee in them and enjoy the cozy atmosphere
