Ingredients:

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • For the Glaze:
  • 1/4 cup coconut butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C

In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt

In another bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined

Using your hands, roll the dough into small donut holes, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until they are firm to the touch and slightly golden

While the donut holes are baking, prepare the glaze

In a small bowl, mix together melted coconut butter, honey or maple syrup, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract until smooth

Once the donut holes are done, let them cool for a few minutes before dipping them into the glaze

You can also drizzle the glaze over the donut holes using a spoon

Allow the glaze to set for a few minutes before serving

Enjoy your Paleo Glazed Chocolate Donut Holes
