Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts optional
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips optional
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan
In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, eggs, almond butter, and melted coconut oil
Mix until well combined
Add almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt to the banana mixture
Stir until a smooth batter forms
If desired, fold in the chopped walnuts and dark chocolate chips
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Allow the banana bread bars to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely
Once cooled, slice into bars and enjoy
