Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Green onions, sliced, for garnish
Instructions:
Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker
In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, garlic, and sesame oil
Pour over the chicken
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry
Stir the slurry into the slow cooker, mixing well with the sauce
Cook for an additional 30 minutes on high, or until the sauce thickens
Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving
Serve over rice or noodles, if desired
